C64 Saver v2.6 Case (Over Voltage Protection)

Protect your Commodore 64 or VIC-20!

This case is designed to accommodate both surface mount (SMD) and through-hole (THT) variants of BWACKS's excellent C64 Saver v2.6. See https://github.com/bwack/C64-Saver-bwack for more information on this project. This design includes screw posts for the PCB and strain relief bridges so that you can secure the 4 core cable before closing up the case.

Two lids for this case are available with this design, with the LED holes in the appropriate place depending on whether you are using the SMD or through-hole board variant. Note that both lids require the use of through-hole LEDs not SMD LEDs. If anyone does edit the lid to accommodate SMD LEDs please do let me know and I'll happily add it to this page. The main box is the same for both lid types and includes screw posts for the PCB and strain relief bridges to lash a cable tie to the cable, the box has four screw holes so that you can't inadvertently mount the PCB the wrong way around :)

Parts Required:

2 x M2.6, 6mm screws to mount the PCB inside the case
2 x M3, 10mm screws to screw the lid down onto the case
2 x 3x100mm cable ties to act as cable strain relief
