To achieve the best result while saving material, I recommend the following parameters:
⢠Filament: PLA & PETG (works great with Matte White or Silk finish)
⢠Infill: 5% Lightning Infill (saves a lot of time and material, as the structure is only supported where necessary).
⢠Wall lines: 2-3 (for a smooth surface without infill showing through).
⢠Support: Tree Automatic
⢠Layer height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm for fine detail reproduction.
⨠Why Lightning Infill?
Since this sculpture is primarily a decorative object, high internal stability is not necessary. The 5% Lightning Infill ensures that the top layers are perfectly supported, while the lower part of the figure remains almost hollow. This reduces printing time by up to 30%!
