Description

Graveyard Mansion - HueForge.

Printing instructions:

Filament swaps ONLY, no MMU or AMS required, but AMS makes it much easier.

Use Original HueForge profile to get the intended look, my models are very sensitive to print settings because of color blending between layers.
Every setting and filament changes for AMS are carefully prepared and fine-tuned in the Original HueForge print profile, feel free to change colors, but I recommend not to adjust other settings.
If you want to experiment with your own settings or non-original print profiles, for best look print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.24mm.

You can use same filaments as I did, or you can experiment with your own.

Don't forget to upload a make!

Filaments Used:

  • PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6
  • PLA BambuLab Basic Blue Gray Transmission Distance: 3
  • PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 4

Swap Instructions:

  • Start with Black
  • At layer #4 (0.36mm) swap to Blue Gray
  • At layer #16 (0.84mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.

Amazing print! Have you used the same filaments as me? It looks almost, if not completely identical to my own make.

Replying to @LordBoos :
two colors are the same. The only different one is the Black, I used Sunlu Meta Black. the Blue-Grey was a brilliant choice, it really makes it pop.

You really have to print it to fully appreciate it and [finally] grok what Hue Forge does (in the right hands). Printed on my P1P using SunLu PLA+ via my AMS.

Printed well, however for some reason my printer hates these extremly small layers and it seems to partily clog the nozzle. Even swapped hotends right before this print. Maybe i need to clean my extruder gears next, these hueforge prints are like a retraction torture test LOL. I ended up bumping the hotend temp up to 240 and running on silent mode to get this result. Turned out freaking amazing !!

Looking good! Yea it's true, that 0.04mm layer height is like a printer torture test haha. I use slightly reduced retraction distance of 0.6mm (default is 0.8mm) for my prints and that might help.

Used glow filament instead. Came out really good. Love the foggy look and how it really pops out with a blacklight.

I printed this at half size just to test it as it was my first HueForge. It worked REALLY well I'm excited to print this one full size. Just a note, if you resize X & Y, DO NOT resize the Z or it will screw the print up.
