Description

Senator Padmé Amidala wears this iconic headdress during her last meeting of the Galactic Republic Senate in Star Wars Ep. III. This is the scene where she says her famous lines: "This is how liberty dies... With thunderous applause." It bears a striking resemblance to the symbol of the soon-to-be-born rebellion.

I designed this headdress to be as close as possible to the original to go with my Padmé cosplay. You will need two identical prints, one for the back and one for the front. Glue them to each other using either superglue or epoxy glue.

Even when printing on 0.08 settings, sanding or any other finishing touches will be required. You can spot the difference on the photos. For my version, I chose PETG and primed it with black Vallejo primer, then used my airbrush and Vallejo Air metallic paint in silver and steel Colours for the final look.

The holes will help you to secure the headdress to your hair. I used some simple leather strips and tied them around my hair elastic. You can also use some artificial hair on a felt base for the part that goes round the centerpiece to make the hairstyle less complicated.

I also uploaded a template for the cape pattern.

Please note that this model was created for cosplay & creative purposes only. I was inspired by the original art from the Star Wars universe, but I am not a part of Lucasfilm or Disney. I modeled this in Blender and printed it on an A1.
