Description
After the release of this v1 model:
Glasses Frame Adjuster (No Hardware Needed) - Free 3D Printed Model - MakerWorld
A friend messaged me asking if it was possible to create a tool for bending and repairing glasses temples with a fixed angle.
Thus, this Glasses Frame Adjuster v2 was created. Its advantage lies in having an adjustable stopper for both horizontal and vertical ranges, allowing for multi-angle adjustment. Once the glasses temple needing adjustment or repair is fitted, the angle can be retained for future use or batch adjustments.
Similarly, this adjuster v2 still features a no-hardware design, using 3D printed threads for smooth assembly and simple installation. Tested with PLA printing, the strength is sufficient, and no structural breaking factors were found.
However, the filament weight and printing time have significantly increased compared to the previous version, and it requires supports (for safety, and to enable one-click remote printing from a phone, brim was added). v1 and v2 are two complementary tools that can be chosen as needed or used in combination.
