Description

Hi makers, this is an updated version of my previous VW Polo GTI (AW1) keychain.
This design represents the 2025 GTI version.
I’ve added customizable text on the front plate via Bambu Studio.

Note: Avoid using the “color painting” option; assign a color to each part instead for better results.
If you use color painting, some colors may bleed into others and ruin the final result.

❗Printing Recommendations❗

Use only a 0.2 mm nozzle – using a larger nozzle will result in loss of important fine details.
Avoid abrasive filaments with 0.2 mm nozzles to prevent damage.
Do not enable ironing – it may ruin smaller design elements.
AMS is required for multi-color printing.

Very nice model! There is probably still some potential for optimization regarding the time, but the print went smoothly! I separated the license plate and printed different "swap license plates". PETG-HF 0.2mm

this is amazing! could u maybe create a model that doesnt require ams and allow the color change by layers?

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed that a non-ams version of this keychain would be less detailed, and using more than 2 colors without ams is a pain to print. Unfortunately, this keychain needs at least black/white and red filament. the problem is that every part (like the headlights, the bumper and so on..) needs at least 3+ layers of color in order to get a clean vivid color, and this isn't possible without many filament changes. You could try to use different colors and paint with the "color" function the edges of every part to reduce color swap, but this could lead in a less vivid final result. If you want, you can also print this in black and do some color painting with a fine brush. I hope you'll be able to get your keychain :)
