Description
This is a modular 4-way PVC tripod connector joint designed to quickly create stable, low-cost tripod bases with three legs plus a vertical center socket for fast, low-cost tripod stands. It’s ideal anywhere you need a lightweight but sturdy stand without metal hardware or expensive fittings.
This printable PVC joint creates stable tripod bases without metal hardware, making it ideal for DIY lighting, holiday displays, workshops, and outdoor setups.
Originally designed for outdoor setups, this joint works equally well for temporary or semi-permanent structures both indoors and outdoors.

Printing Recommendations
Because this is a structural part, filament choice matters:
Recommended filaments
- PETG
- ASA
- ABS
- Tough PLA / PLA+ (works fine for many uses)
Standard PLA works, especially for lighter loads, but stronger filaments are recommended for outdoor use or heavier applications.
Suggested settings
- 4–6 walls
- 20–40% infill (gyroid or cubic)
- Larger nozzle (0.6–0.8mm) works great for faster, stronger prints
- No supports required
