This is V1.0 ducts and mount…. for other version check my makerworld :)

Unfortunately, does not fit the V2 mounts, 

this will not fit Ducati V2,V4,V4S at least the 2025 model.

can i just start by saying im happy with printing this and useing this on my bike BUT i have to say,...
by download my files you are ACKNOWLEDGING that i take NO responsible in anyway shape or form!!!!
in other words,...
ya glue this air duct with sugar-glue an print it with jelly without infill and it causes problems
i WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE!!!!!!!!

Well if you have a Ducati and your looking for some brake air ducts for your bike and fancy ago at printing your own
you have found an come to the right place :)

After countless hours of relearning CAD n Printing an CAD n Printing an CAD oh and whiskey :) this is a idea ive had for
some time now and im please to say its a real thing now!!! for absolutely FREE ive decided to release my files with the
community and all im asking is you read the important bits on this page and in my videos :) and use your head and be sensible when printing and gluing and useing.

my brake air ducts will fit all 1199, 1299, v4 bikes with Brembo M50 calipers with the Ohlins forks maybe Black forks as well.
this may also fit ducati V2, 899, 959 and Ducatis with the black forks but ive not had any of them to test fit.
so please dont hold me to that!

my advice would be print the Mounting Plate and try test fit it, if that fits your bike
the rest will fit as well. if anyone trys on a V2, 899, 959 and it fits please let me know and i can update the specs!

i have design the air ducts to fit to the bike without any addon bolts or addon plates or cable ties, my design is unique
and ive not seen this done. the ducts lock into the calipers and forks and channel air direct to the brake pads and discs.
i will say id recommend printing this in ABS and 50% infill for strength an heat and most of it didnt need support!
also use some proper glue like Soudal High Viscosity Superglue! you dont want that cheap glue letting go!

im guessing if you wanted to do this properly... you would get a company like pcbway to print it in carbon and would
look absolutely amazing on you ducati :) another thing,... all text n logos are recessed about 0.4mm into the side of the duct
so you can add enamel paint or leave and look brill.

also i own a 1299s,.... so if anyone can come up with another kewl project for the bike drop me a msg and it may happen :)

Printing

Front/Back Mounting Plate - 0.2 around 3Hrs
Main Air Duct - 0.2 around 4Hrs

!!!! PLEASE NOTE !!!!

I take no responsibility how you Use/Print/Glue my Show air ducts.

 

Print in = Minimum ABS and NOT PLA!!!!! 

Mounts will need support!!!! 

And id print it with 100% infill for strength!!!! ya dont want this coming tobits when out riding!!!!
ABS has significantly better heat resistance than PLA. ABS boasts a glass transition temperature of 105°C, while PLA's is
only 60°C. This means ABS can withstand higher temperatures before warping or deforming, making it a better choice
for applications where the part will be exposed to heat.

 

=== Glueing Duct to Mount ===
when glueing use Soudal High Viscosity Superglue! PLEASE dont use cheap crap!!!!
surface on duct and mount will need a sand flat befor glueing.

Let me tell you its soul destroying! Trying to CAD something thats 3d with lots of contours from 2 reference pictures.
Every single change you do you have to re-print and go try n fit it to your bike!!! Now times that by 20 lol.
i should of brought a 3-D scanner and scanned the forks and brakes then did my cad work from there.
