Description
DCS: DeWalt Crawling System - Hexapod Cap Remix
Give your Vorpal Hexapod a rugged, industrial upgrade with this DeWalt-inspired shell. This is a cosmetic remix of the top cap designed to give your robot the iconic look of a 20V Max power tool.
[!IMPORTANT] This model is only the top cap and decorative logos. To build the full robot, you will need the base files and electronics from the original Vorpal project.

Print Settings & Recommendations
To achieve the best results and the most authentic look, please follow these guidelines:
- Nozzle Requirements: * Main Cap: Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle.
- Front/Back Logos: To ensure the fine text on the "DCS" and "20V Max" labels is crisp and readable, these must be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle. I have provided separate print profiles for the 0.2mm and 0.4mm parts for your convenience.
- Filament & Color Matching:
- For the perfect DeWalt yellow match, I used Bambu Lab ABS Tangerine Yellow (40402).
- The black accents and base are printed in standard Black ABS to maintain structural integrity and a cohesive look.
Assembly Notes
- Logos: The logos are designed to fit into the recessed areas of the cap. A small dab of superglue (CA glue) is recommended to secure the nameplates after printing.
- Decorative Screws: The cap features slots for M6 screws. Please note that these are strictly for aesthetics to complete the power tool look and are not required for structural assembly.
- Front LED: Please note that the front LED assembly shown in the photos is not included in this specific file. You can find that model as a separate listing on my MakerWorld account.
