Bring a touch of modern sophistication to your workspace, studio, or living room with this Minimalist Camera Line Art. Inspired by continuous line drawings, this design captures the essence of a classic DSLR camera in a single, flowing path.

It is designed specifically for 3D printing as a "flat" decor piece that can be mounted on a wall, placed on a shelf, or—as shown in the renders—framed for a premium look. It’s the perfect gift for photographers, content creators, and fans of minimalist aesthetic.

Key Features

  • Modern Aesthetic: Clean, elegant, and timeless design.
  • Easy to Print: No supports required. Optimized for a flat-on-bed print.
  • Scalable: You can easily scale it up or down in your slicer to fit your specific frame size.
  • Versatile Decor: Looks great in black, white, or even metallic filaments like silk gold or copper.

Print Settings Recommendations

To get the best result, I recommend the following settings:

  • Material: PLA (Matte Black looks particularly stunning).
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (Standard) or 0.16mm for a smoother finish.
  • Infill: 100% (Since the lines are thin, this ensures structural integrity).
  • Wall Loops: 2 or 3.
  • First Layer Speed: 20-30 mm/s (to ensure the fine details of the line art stick perfectly to the bed).
  • Support: None.

Assembly & Display Tips

  1. Framing: Use a 20x25cm (8x10") or 30x40cm frame. Secure the print to a white or textured cardstock background using a few tiny drops of superglue or thin double-sided tape.
  2. Wall Mounting: If you prefer not to use a frame, you can mount it directly to the wall using mounting putty (Blue-Tack) or small command strips.
  3. Floating Look: Use spacers inside a shadow box frame to give the 3D print a "floating" effect with beautiful shadows.

Tag your prints! If you print this, I’d love to see your results! Please upload a photo of your make and share your setup.
