A minimal paper plane 3D printed design that creates a striking illusion of suspension in mid-air, achieved through a balance between magnetic attraction and a stabilizing thread.
The plane appears to float in the air, held only by a thin, almost invisible string.
✈️ How it works
- A circular magnet is mounted on top of the plane
- A second identical magnet is placed on the top of the base
- The magnets attract each other, generating an upward force
- A thread attached underneath the base and the plane limits the lift and stabilizes the system
- By adjusting the thread length, the perfect balance point is reached, creating the levitation effect

- Diameter: 30 mm
- Thickness: 4 mm
