USAF Ribbon Rack Alignment Tool – AFI 36-2903 Compliant

This ribbon rack alignment tool is designed to help U.S. Air Force members accurately mount and align ribbon racks in accordance with AFI 36-2903. It provides a straight, level reference edge to ensure ribbons are even, centered, and professionally displayed on service dress and mess dress uniforms.

The tool fits over the top of the ribbon rack, allowing consistent horizontal alignment across multiple rows while maintaining proper spacing. Ideal for initial setup or re-alignment before permanently attaching ribbons, it helps prevent crooked or uneven racks and saves time during uniform preparation.

Perfect for Airmen who want a clean, regulation-compliant appearance.

A little tight on the badge, but that actually can help hold the tool in place so I don't have to.

I'm looking to mess with the tolerances a bit, but I also like that it was tight so that it would hold the badge for me.

I don't have a need for this now but would have been nice the 20 years in the USAF

I'm looking to design an entire suite of tools. Is there anything else that you would have particularly found useful?

If you make anything that takes thought and measurement out of putting all the pieces of flare on a uniform, I'm here for it.
