Description
Innovative Upcycling for your marble run! These adapters transform standard electrical conduits (M40, DIN EN 61386, available at hardware stores!) into extremely stable, time- and material-saving supports for your GraviTrax system. With this solution, you can build supports of any length – ideal for extreme gradients, room-high tracks, or massive constructions, without wasting huge amounts of filament for printed towers
- Material consumption: A set (base + top) requires only about 22g of filament
- Compatibility: Tested with M40 pipes (40mm outer diameter)
- Print settings: * no supports (Support-free)!
- Recommended infill: 10% Gyroid for a stable platform
- 2 walls, 3 shell layers top and bottom
- Tested with Bambu PLA Basic, PLA Matte, and PLA Tough+
- Fit: The pipe fits intentionally very tightly (\"Friction Fit\") to prevent the adapters from twisting during operation
- Accessories: matching balcony clips
If you print with PETG, ABS or ASA: Use XY compensation or scale the model up by 0.5% to 1.5% to compensate for material shrinkage. For ABS/ASA, a wide brim is recommended
The matching balcony clips are included in the model
You only need 1 elastic band for fastening each (sealing ring, loom band, small household rubber band, …)
