Scrap loading for H0 low-side wagons with internal dimensions of 87mm x 30mm.
The height of the loading can be adjusted by 11mm using the included frame, for example for high-side wagons.
In general, it is of course possible to scale all dimensions to other wagon sizes and scales.
If you reduce the frame by, for example, 50% in Z, you can also represent a half-full wagon.
With this print, it is also possible to create a junkyard area on a diorama.
The scrap should be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle and the frame, to make it faster, with a 0.4mm nozzle.
A 0.2mm nozzle for both is also possible of course :-)
This is how I painted the model:
- Printed in PLA Silver
- Painted everything completely with thin black paint, let it dry briefly, and immediately wipe it off with a cloth.
This way, structures are better highlighted.
- Now repeat the same with red paint
- Brushed everything with rust powder from model building
- Roughly sand over the edges with 400-grit sandpaper to create highlights and break edges.
