Description (French)
This bust represents Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, a major writer and thinker of 19th-century Russian literature, whose work profoundly influenced philosophy, psychology, and the modern novel. The model is inspired by the most popular and widely circulated photograph of the author, which has become the iconic visual reference for his image.
The facial proportions have been carefully respected to ensure immediate recognition. The features are intentionally assertive: the intense and introspective gaze, the clear forehead, and the dense and structured beard reflect the moral depth and inner tension that characterize Dostoevsky's universe. The level of detail is deliberately controlled to favor clear and readable volumes, highlighting the strong lines of the face and hair, while ensuring excellent adaptability for 3D printing.
Author of major novels such as Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, or The Idiot, Dostoevsky explored with rare intensity the torments of the human soul, faith, guilt, and freedom. This bust seeks to capture the image of a writer deeply inhabited by his ideas, whose gaze still seems to question human consciousness.
