Description
An open-frame display stand for glass spheres.
Scales well to fit different sphere sizes with a snug, stable cradle. I've included profiles for 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 inch spheres (75-150 mm).
If the size you want isn't listed, download the 4 inch version and scale it yourself. This model is designed around a 100 mm sphere, so your scale % maps directly to your sphere diameter in mm. Example: 120 mm sphere -> scale to 120%.
I originally designed this for my dinoflagellates bio-orb from Pyro Farms because I never loved the included base.
Print notes:
- No supports needed
- Recommend 3 perimeters for strength (my profiles have this)
