Description

A pocket-sized coin holder for HKD coins, providing quick and easy access.
The model consists of 3 parts: a bottom cover, a top cover, and a frame.
All parts are held together through a friction fit; no supports or additional hardware are necessary.

Design for the grip mechanism inspired by Rick's Pocket coin Holder (HKD).

Wait until the print has fully cooled before removing it from the build plate to prevent warping.

  2. Snap the bottom cover to the frame, pushing down on the pegs.
  3. Snap the top cover to the frame, pushing down on the pegs.

Disclaimers

Designed with 0.2 mm tolerances and printed in Bambu Lab Matte PLA on a Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack.

I recommend printing the frame in a dark filament to reduce the visibility of scuffs from the coins.
I have not personally verified the holder at max capacity, since I do not have all of the coins and I noticed a discrepancy with coin measurements that I found online.

Changelog

2026-02-07
Fixed the labels to be the correct orientation for the 7-coin holder.
