N3DSXL and modded Gameboy Advance SP Charger

This is a charging cradle that I created for my N3DS XL and my modded GBA SP. It uses two spring loaded contact pins for the 3DS charging and a USB-C connector for the GBA SP charging. Both are wired together into a single USB-C Female port which would then go to the wall for power suing a 5V wall puck. 

I used wood-filled PLA for the top and bottom pieces, sanded them smooth, and applied a few coats of  wood stain to get the desired wood appearance and grain-like effect. I used PETG or PLA for the main body, and TPU for the “rubber” feet on the bottom. 

The files include the parts for if your N3DS XL has a case or without a case. I can only confirm the one with a case works with my specific one. But it might work with other cases. 

This will not work with any other 3DS or a GBA SP without the USB-C charging mod. 

I may try to make the design more modular in the future with TPU inserts for changing the 3DS acceptability.
