Description
Parametric protective frame (commonly called "wall guard") to be installed over or under the switch plate.
- By creating a frame with internal dimensions equal to the plate, it can be fitted over it.
- By creating a frame with smaller internal dimensions, it can be fitted under the plate.
If the frame cannot be fitted because the plate does not have sufficient thickness, use double-sided tape
1. Wall Protection
The frame creates an extra area that acts as a shield against fingerprints, dirt, and mechanical wear that occurs when searching for the switch in the dark.
2. Night Visibility (Phosphorescence)
* "Glow in the Dark" effect if printed in PLA Glow
3. Aesthetics and Installation
The frame is customizable in dimensions, thickness, and rounded profile
Snap-on mounting on the existing plate, without the need for electrical work or additional holes in the wall.
For creation:
- Measure the width and height of your plate and enter the data into the parametric customizer.
- Choose the thickness
-In case of rounded plate edges, enter the radius of curvature (usually 5 mm)
- Print and fit onto the plate.
