Need magnetic couplers and have BTTB rolling stock? This project is for you!

I use 2mm diameter and 2mm thick neodymium magnets. They provide a near-perfect connection between the wagons and with the locomotive – even on steep grades. The design is universal – it can be used for passenger cars, freight cars, and locomotives.

Attaching the neodymium magnets doesn't require glue. However, if for some reason you need to glue them, use a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue.

21.01.2026 UPDATE:

  • added second STL file with the thinner part entering the wagon
