🐾 Elevated Pet Bowl Riser – Modular X-Frame Stand
This is a simple, sturdy pet (cat or small dog) food bowl riser designed to raise the bowl off the floor for more comfortable feeding and a cleaner eating area.
The stand is made from two identical parts that slide together to form an X-shaped structure. Once assembled, the geometry naturally locks in place through weight and gravity — no fasteners are required for basic use.
That said, optional fixing methods are included if you prefer a more permanent or transport-friendly setup.

- Overall footprint: 220 × 220 mm (square)
- Total height: 120 mm
- Bowl seating height: 90 mm
- Maximum bowl diameter: up to 180 mm
Designed to work with most standard cat and small pet bowls.
🔩 Assembly Options
- Tool-free assembly:
The two parts slide together and stay in place naturally once the bowl is added. - Optional screw connection:
- Central hole for an M4 countersunk (cone head) screw
- Heat-set insert hole on the top leg for an M4 heat insert
- Allows secure fastening while still being easy to dismantle later
- Permanent option:
Parts can also be glued if a fixed assembly is preferred.
🖨️ Print Settings (Recommended)
- Walls: 4
- Infill: 30% Gyroid
- Material: PETG used in testing (~213 g total), but PLA, PETG, ASA, etc. all work well
- Supports: Not required
These settings give a solid, stable stand without unnecessary material use.
🐕 Practical Notes
- For extra grip, non-slip pads can be added to the feet
- Alternatively, place the stand on a pet feeding mat
- Simple geometry, easy print, and easy to scale or adapt if needed
