Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni – Bust

Description (French)
This bust pays homage to Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, a major figure of the Italian Renaissance, whose genius profoundly marked the history of Western art. The model is inspired by the most popular and widely diffused representation of the character, stemming from historical portraits showing him at a mature age, with an intense and deeply expressive gaze.

The face is treated with faithful proportions in order to immediately preserve the recognition of the character. The features are voluntarily affirmed: the marked forehead, the penetrating eyes, the structured beard and hair translate the strength of character, the rigor and the determination of an artist inhabited by his work. The level of detail has been mastered to favor the readability of volumes and a clear silhouette, perfectly adapted to 3D printing.

Michelangelo was simultaneously a sculptor, painter, architect, and poet, author of timeless masterpieces such as David, The Pietà, or the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel. This bust seeks to capture not only his physical features, but also the aura of an extraordinary creative spirit, symbol of human genius and the quest for artistic perfection.

This bust pays tribute to Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, one of the greatest figures of the Italian Renaissance, whose genius profoundly shaped the history of Western art. The model is inspired by the most iconic and widely recognized representation of the artist, based on historical portraits depicting him later in life, with an intense and thoughtful gaze.

Facial proportions are carefully preserved to ensure immediate recognizability. The features are intentionally strong: the pronounced brow, piercing eyes, and structured beard and hair reflect the strength of character, discipline, and determination of an artist entirely devoted to his work. Fine details are deliberately reduced in favor of clear volumes and a clean sculptural language, making the model perfectly suited for 3D printing.
