Personal Advice for Shooting Soft Lures

⚠️ Safety first

  • Always protect your lungs and eyes
  • Work in a well-ventilated area

🔥 Preparation

  • Pre-heat both the injector and the mold up to 40–50 °C (104–122 °F)

🧴 Mold release

  • Lightly brush the mold with sunflower oil or similar oil using a paintbrush
  • This helps the soft lures release cleanly and reduces tearing

🔩 Clamping

  • Clamp the mold as tightly as possible
  • Since this is not an aluminum mold, some flex may occur depending on material and print settings—proper clamping is essential for clean results

Ideal For

  • DIY soft lure makers
  • Perch and trout anglers
  • Home bait production
  • Testing custom colors and plastisol blends
