This 3D printable display box is designed to enhance collectible models, especially Formula 1 single-seater cars, transforming them into a modern and elegant illuminated display

The clean and minimalist design places the displayed model at the center, while the structure protects against dust and enhances its presentation

The box is compatible with 2mm thick plexiglass panels, easy to find and simple to install

The project integrates an LED lighting system along the inner perimeter, designed to ensure uniform light diffusion
 

👉 No specific type of LED is required: the box is compatible with any LED strip (white, warm, RGB, USB, or externally powered), allowing maximum customization freedom to the maker

🔧 Assembly Tip (recommended)

Before final assembly, it is recommended to lightly sand:

• the pegs printed on the main frame
• the entire perimeter of the LED cover frame

This step improves the fit between parts, facilitates assembly, and ensures a cleaner and more precise final result

This box is adaptable to any display of models, cars, or accessories, not just Formula 1 single-seater cars

It is possible to resize the entire project directly in Bambu Studio according to your display needs

👉 It is important to scale all parts of the model while maintaining the same percentage, to preserve correct compatibility and final assembly
