Taking Wingspan on the road sounds fun… until cards slide everywhere, tokens mix together, and setup turns into a long sorting session. Also the box is too big for a regular backpack.
This travel box was created to solve exactly those problems.

The idea started after packing Wingspan into a backpack and realizing how fragile and messy loose components can become. Bags get shaken, turned upside down, and sometimes dropped — and the original bags simply aren’t made for that.
So this box was designed from the ground up, measuring every piece to create a precise, secure fit.

Design goals & thought process

• Custom-fit compartments: Every card, token, die, and component has its own space — no rattling, no wasted volume.
• Travel-proof: The box can be shaken, tilted or tumbled in a backpack without pieces falling out or mixing.
• Original box compatible: Fits neatly back into the original Wingspan game box.
• Backpack friendly: Designed with an A4 paper footprint, so it fits easily into a regular backpack.
• Fast setup: Open the box and start playing — no sorting needed.
• Print-in-place, No supports: Easy print
