Description
This is a set of templates I designed to help me make custom grips for my G-Wolves Fenrir Max 8k. This is designed for the Max 8k and not the Asym model of this mouse. I liked the grips that came with the mouse but they became gummy and started sliding around after a month or two and I did not want to wait 2 weeks for a set of grip tapes to come in from G-Wolves themselves. I could not find any other company making grip tape sets for this mouse and I wanted the feel of a custom made grip tape set. This template can be used with any grip tape you prefer. The yellow grips in the pictures are sticky notes attached to the mouse to provide enough contrast for pictures. The templates very closely match the shape of the clicks and sides of the mouse.
My preferred method of cutting the grip tapes is to apply the grip tape adhesive directly to the template so that they will not slide around. Then I use a fresh Exacto knife or razor blade to cut the excess grip from the template. You could also use a sharp pair of scissors to cut around the templates. Then just peel the grip from the template and place it on the mouse.
Any grip tape will work for this template but I am using a generic roll of rubber grip tape I purchased from amazon. The link can be found below for the exact roll I used.
