Description
This project is a front ventilation modification designed for 30×30×30 cm terrariums (tested on a Garpet terrarium).
On the original terrarium, the front ventilation opening is positioned very low. For burrowing tarantulas, this can cause substrate to spill out through the ventilation when the spider digs. To solve this issue, I designed an angled airflow guide that redirects the ventilation upward.
The angled design allows proper air circulation while preventing soil or substrate from escaping the terrarium. This makes the terrarium more suitable for burrowing species without reducing ventilation efficiency.
Features:
- Designed for 30×30×30 cm terrariums
- Redirects front ventilation upward
- Prevents substrate from falling out when animals burrow
- Maintains good airflow
- Easy to print and install
Note:
This model was created for personal use and tested on a Garpet terrarium. Please check the dimensions before printing and adjust if necessary for other brands or models.
