Mesh Eye Patch

Saw many eye patches, but none like the one I wanted to create. Long cosplay days and hurting your head having one eye covered up all day. Well, that's where the inspiration for this design came. 

This is a mesh eye patch, comes in two different mesh sizes (mesh design based on Society ROAR 3D). I have included 3 plates: one left eye patch, one right, and a third with the elements in their raw form for your own adapting. 

I decided on 3mm as the best option for thickness because it lends itself better for thermoforming, which I did using very hot water and the back of a spoon. I have included a picture of this…note, the design prints flat, can be used that way, sure, but always nice to heat it up and get a better fit. 

Two GIFs also included so you can see how things look through the patch. I found both to be fine, no issues. With the 3mm thickness and the bigger mesh, you should be good to go. The smaller mesh is nice because it gives the illusion of a solid black patch while also giving some visibility.
