Description

🚁 Ultra-Fast Toy Propeller (Gravity Helicopter)

Looking for a quick print that is actually fun? This toy propeller prints in just 2 minutes and uses almost no filament!

It is based on the classic paper helicopter design. Simply drop it from a high place, and watch it spin gracefully to the ground. It demonstrates the principles of gravity and air resistance, making it a great little STEM toy.

✨ Key Features

  • Super Fast: Prints in approximately 2m 10s.
  • Micro Filament Usage: Uses only 0.39g of filament! Perfect for using up those last few meters on a spool (Scrap Buster).
  • Zero Waste: No supports required.
  • Simple Assembly: Just print and bend.

⚙️ Print Settings

  • Material: PLA, PETG, ABS (PLA or ABS recommended for stiffness).
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm
  • Infill: 100% (It is thin, so infill doesn't matter much).
  • Supports: None.

🛠️ Post-Processing (Important!)

After printing, the model will be flat like a 'Y' shape.

  1. Take the model off the build plate.
  2. Bend the two wings in opposite directions.
  3. Long Wing: Bend the longer wing **60~70 degrees** in the **SAME** direction as the bottom protruding weight.
  4. Short Wing: Bend the shorter wing **60~70 degrees** in the **OPPOSITE** direction.
  5. Drop it and have fun!
