The Crusader is a long-serving heavy BattleMech of the Star League era, designed to provide sustained fire support while keeping pace with advancing formations. Armed with a mix of long-range missiles and direct-fire weapons, it was intended to overwhelm targets through steady pressure rather than sudden strikes. Over centuries of warfare, the Crusader earned a reputation as a dependable, if sometimes volatile, battlefield presence. Despite its flaws, it remains a common sight in many Inner Sphere arsenals.
