This is a printable T-Nut designed specifically for 4040 series aluminum profiles, with a precise slot for a standard M3 nut.

Recommended Print Settings
To ensure maximum mechanical strength, I recommend following these parameters:
- Material: PETG or ABS/ASA (recommended for long-term durability), but PLA+ is fine for light loads.
- Layer height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm (for millimeter precision in the nut housing).
- Walls: 5 or 6 (to prevent the nut from "breaking through" the plastic when tightened).
- Infill: 95%
Assembly Instructions
- Insert a standard M3 nut into the hexagonal slot of the printed part.
- Place the T-Nut into the slot of the 4040 profile.
- Insert the M3 screw through the object you want to mount and thread it into the T-Nut.
- As you tighten, the T-Nut will rotate 90 degrees, locking itself against the internal walls of the profile.
