Behold, the Cutting Torch LED Lamp is born. -Replica Display Model / light
This model is a stylized replica of an oxygen / acetylene cutting torch, redesigned as a vertical display lamp. The torch stands upright, while the replica hoses coil into a spiral base, providing both visual balance and structural support.
At the top, the torch flame is reimagined as a light diffuser, designed to house a short LED strip, transforming the classic cutting torch silhouette into a functional and eye-catching lamp. When illuminated, the flame gives the impression of an active torch, making it a great conversation piece.

ATTENTION: FOR LED FLAME EFFECT USE A TRANSPERANT PLA OR PETG. (AS I USED TRANSPERANT ORANGE)
Assembly
Install the LED strip at underside of flame section before final assembly.
I used two LED strips cut out of left over LED silicone rope. The strips are roughly 8mm wide and fit in the opening of the Flame model tip.
Optional file: LED Rope Rail. You can use this model tip and just insert a 120mm section of led neon silicon rope lighting. Wire accordingly.
for power switch use a round toggle on/off roughly 21mm circumference.
Use orange LED strip facing upward and use white LED strip facing downward for best effect. Solder ends of the two LED strips per picture provided. Make sure pos+ to pos+ and neg- to neg-.
Place a section of tape between the two to prevent short circuit.
Insert the LED strip onto the bottom of the flame. Orange LED's facing upward.
Now test the LEDs. Make sure they work before you route the wires and glue the torch lamp parts together.
LED power source and wiring are left customizable to suit your setup.
Make sure all the parts are printed, fit and are in order. Don't forget to thread any parts needed before you glue sections. Thread the pos+ and neg- wires from the top-down gluing sections as you go. Glue the FILES Head Rod 1 and 2 to the FILE named Main Housing Connector after you thread the wires thru the Main Housing Connector. Then Glue the Head Rods to the FILE Torch Tip Head. Continue threading and gluing parts as you work your way to the base. Note: Check your alignment as you go.
ELECTRICAL PARTS LINKS:
NOTE: These are components that I use, you can pick and choose your own, these component links are usable but also just reference. Please feel free to use components of your own choosing. You will need a soldering iron, solder, flux, wire strippers, shrink tube, hot glue and some basic knowledge of wiring to make your own circuit that works. The rocker switch and dimmer on/off switch is redundant, but I wanted to dim my lamp. I prefer the Lamomo led strip inside the silicon rope because it is cuttable every 1cm. and the color/brightness is nice. The file named LED ROPE RAIL fits this neon led rope. And the file named LED STRIP FLAME you will carefully slit the silicone and extract the LED strip inside to install into the flame diffuser file LED STRIP FLAME.
