DeWALT DWE7492 Fence Extension
Print Profile(0)
Description
These files correspond to the **3D Printed supports** I designed to mount a **2080 aluminum profile** as a **fence extension** on a table saw, in my case a **DeWALT 7492**, although the design is easily adaptable to other models
The main objective of the design is to **improve the precision, safety, and ergonomics** of the original fence, **without drilling or modifying the factory guide**
🔧 Main functions
- Firm clamping of the **2080 profile** from the bottom and side
- Squareness correction using a rear shim
- Additional support at the table's infeed and outfeed
- Allows the use of **T-slot accessories** (featherboards, stops, etc)
- **Quick and reversible** installation and disassembly
🖨️ Printing recommendations
- Material: **PLA+ / PETG** (PETG recommended for higher heat resistance)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: **30–40% adding modifiers to the sections where the screws are supported**
- Perimeters: 4 or more
Orientation: as shown in the images
