Description
Soldier Dwarf from Erebor – Your Epic Holder for Mead, Wine & Cans!

Dear Makers and Lord of the Rings Fans,
prepare a royal task for your 3D printers, because here comes the ultimate holder for your drinks! Inspired by the proud Soldier Dwarves of Erebor, this mighty warrior holds your mead bottle, wine bottle, or can firmly in his arms.
This detailed model perfectly captures the essence of the brave Dwarves from the Lonely Mountain. With its impressive armor and majestic beard, this Dwarf is not only a practical holder but also a fantastic collector's item for any Middle-earth display case.
📏 Important note on scaling (Please read!)
Since beverage containers have very different diameters, it is absolutely essential to adjust the model in the slicer to your desired drink:
- Cans: Standard cans (0.33l or 0.5l) often require a different scaling than bulbous bottles.
- Mead bottles: These are often somewhat wider and more rustic in shape – carefully check the arm span here.
- Wine bottles: Depending on the bottle type (Schlegel, Burgundy, or Bordeaux), the diameter varies.
- Pro Tip: In the slicer, cut out a narrow "test piece" at the height of the hands and print only this ring. This way, you can check in a few minutes if your bottle fits perfectly before printing the entire Dwarf!
What you can expect:
- Impressive Design: A true-to-life Dwarf soldier, designed with attention to detail.
- Versatile: Ideal for your next gaming session, movie night, or as an eye-catcher on the shelf.
- Robust Construction: Designed to present your drink securely and stably.
- Print Optimized: The model is prepared to deliver excellent results on common FDM printers.
Print Recommendations:
- Material: PLA for maximum detail or PETG for extra robustness.
- Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mm for a clean surface.
- Infill: At least 15-20% (Gyroid recommended) so the Dwarf has enough self-weight.
- Supports: Required for overhangs (especially under the arms and beard).
Post-processing:
For an authentic Erebor look, I recommend painting with acrylics: use metallic silver and gold for the armor and rich brown tones for the braided beard. A light "drybrushing" will really bring out the details of the armor!
I'm excited to see your results! Feel free to upload photos of your painted Dwarves and show me which drink your warrior gets to guard.
Happy Printing and Scaling!
