šŸ”¹ Description
This is a fully parametric and customizable ISO metric hex head bolt.
Simply click the Customize button and adjust a few parameters to create the bolt according to your needs.
Once the parameters are set, click Generate to update the model and download the customized bolt STL file via Download.

One ready-to-use print profile is included, covering a range from M3 to M10, allowing you to print the most common sizes immediately.
In addition, an STL file is provided for each standard ISO bolt size (from M1.6 to M64).

Below is an explanation of the available parameters.

šŸ”¹ Main Parameters

• ISO Size (from M1.6 to M64)
Nominal metric thread size (e.g. M6, M8, M10).
In most cases, selecting one of the available sizes without changing any other parameters will generate a standard ISO bolt of the chosen size.

Note:
For smaller sizes or higher print accuracy, a 0.1 mm layer height is recommended.
For M1.6 and M2, the use of a 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended.

If a non-standard bolt is required, the other parameters can be adjusted.

Each parameter follows this principle:

Ā   • Ā if set to 0, the ISO standard value is used

Ā   •  if set to a value other than 0, the entered value is used

Ā   •  physically invalid parameter combinations will generate an error during model creation

šŸ”¹ Adjustable Parameters

Ā   • Ā Head Height
Ā  Ā  Ā  Height of the hexagonal bolt head.

Ā   •  Smooth Shank Length
Ā  Ā  Ā  Length of the smooth shank below the head, before the threaded section begins.

Ā   • Ā Threaded Length
Ā  Ā  Ā  Total length of the threaded section of the bolt.

šŸ”¹ Advanced Settings (for experienced users)

Ā   • Pitch
Ā  Ā  Ā Metric thread pitch.

Ā   • Wrench Size
Ā  Ā  Ā Across-flats dimension of the hex head.

Ā   • Tolerance
Ā  Ā  Ā Tolerance applied to the external thread to compensate for FDM printing inaccuracies and ensure proper fit with ISO metric nuts.

ā„¹ļø Note
3D-printed components have lower strength compared to metal ones and are intended for light, non-structural applications.
