The protective cap fits both older and current Dremel and Bosch battery geometries
It takes into account the different nose and locking geometries of the generations and reliably protects the contacts from short circuits caused by conductive objects during transport or storage
The cap is precisely fitting and snaps into the contacts for a secure hold
