Description

This is one of my Brand-New Crowdfunding Project: Creative, Buildable “Block” Car

Let kids fall in love with buildable block cars: detachable and infinitely combinable

Let kids fall in love with buildable block cars — easy to disassemble, fun to combine endlessly

I created a buildable 3D-printed block car kit. Once you’ve printed enough modules, kids can freely combine them into any vehicle they imagine, instead of being limited to a single, fixed toy car.

After finishing one build, they can take it apart and create an entirely new design again. The whole process is fun, engaging, and helps improve children’s hands-on skills and creativity through play.

(The image shows just a few styles—let your imagination create even more vehicles)

1.Parts are interchangeable and can be combined in endless ways

2.Snap and interlock structure for effortless assembly and combination

3.This toy car kit consists of the following modules

You will now receive an additional truck storage model!

I am in LOVE!! Honestly cant stop printing them. I have Pastel Purple and Magenta Pink sets printing atm and also yellow and Orange. The only issues I've had are the mesh like basket is a little weak for little hands and breaks easily and the door on garbage truck is hard to set in place properly, it pops out when used. Otherwise PERFECT!! Please please do a train set in similar style next!!!!!!!!

I can finally share my thoughts since I have some of this printed :) I loved this since the day I saw the concept on Crowdfunding. This is awesome. Ability to change one car into another with 2 simple steps is amazing. I'm preparing that as a gift for my son and I'm sure he will be as amazed as me. On my photos some of the wheels are partially white, because I ran out of black filament for the last 4 layers while printing this batch and decided to make it white for an additional effect. Printing notes / advices: - Change infill from Grid to Line (Gyroid seems to take longer to print, but also acceptable. Anything that is not traveling twice over the same region). - Infill density can be safely lowered to 10%. - Make it colorful - Print lot of bases, you'll want them all assembled!

hello) I didn't have time to participate in the fundraising for the project's launch - can you tell me when it will be possible to download/purchase the model?

That's great! Did you have any problems printing the "high side truck" due to the lack of supports in the gaps? Did you need to do any pós work on the piece? Tks!

I've printed 4 base modules, some wheels, and the excavator parts in matte PLA on my Snapmaker U1. And I'm thoroughly impressed. First off—the base modules are quite hard to disconnect. Initially I wondered if kids could handle that. But I think it's intentional: the modules hold together really well. no wobbling during play. Clever. Then when you snap the top modules on, you feel this springy click. That connection is much lighter to unlock—just enough grip to stay on during play, but easy to snap off with one hand. I'm shaking the car while holding the modules. It just stays on. Amazing. And the excavator bucket mechanism? I was sure it would break. Most PLA prints would. But even as I rotate it, it stays put. Feels like it might pop out—but it doesn't. Kids will probably manage to pull it out eventually, but I'm amazed at how well this thing holds together. I applaud you for all these clever techniques.

Thank you for the models. The only challenge was from my own fault adding the graphics to the large cargo box. It took 2 days to print on a P1S due to color changes. This is awesome!

Congratulations on this Great Model!! I have been 3D Printing for over 4 years, and this has made it into my Top 5 prints of all time. My 4 year old grandson has spent hours playing with car blocks, he usually loses interest after 10 minutes. He also gives this model two enthusiastic thumbs up. Great Job!!

Very derivative of Silvester's work. Would be nice to see some credit/profits going to the original designer.

I enjoy the items and printing them. If i do have to point out something, the connection between the chassis is realy tight. I don't see young kids easily switch between chassis or add some extra parts between it and removing. I have to use some good force to get those connected and disconnected. So maybe this can be changed to give the connections a little more tolerances. For the rest i like it alot!
