Description

I had some old wooden repair pegs, but i ran out, so i just modelled and printed some new ones. Just drill a 6mm hole into the rail about 17mm (20mm for good measure), and put a modest amount of glue (even hot-glue works) and insert the plug. The plug has two “rings” which allows the glue to better grip it. If there is too much glue the plug will not be able to insert fully, as the fit is fairly snug.

The diameter increase is where it's supposed to be inserted to.

About printing them. I print them in PETG HF for slightly added strength. I use PLA for easier support seperation. It has worked very well for me - but feel free to print it any way you like. Printing it vertically will make it very prone to breaking along the layer lines.

Enjoy fixing your kids toys :-)
