Description
This is a very stable reusable box for transporting or storing 10 eggs ("normal" size, egg height max 62mm)
Ideal for safely transporting eggs for example when shopping or camping, in an RV, boat, picnic…
The box is printed “print in place” so no assembly is necessary (only the slider needs to be inserted) and no additional parts are needed. The closure is done via a slider
Assembly of the locking slider:
The areas where the support was on the rails must be cleanly deburred otherwise the slider will run stiffly. Possibly sand a little
The slider is placed on the lower rail in the open state. The groove with the spring goes onto the longer rail
When the box is closed, the slider cannot be removed. In the end positions of the slider, it has a slight detent function
Another note on printing: when you open the print profile in the slicer, make sure that the model is not shifted, as the model only fits extremely tightly on the 256mm print plates. (even if it is shifted minimally, an error message will appear)
Attention: Since the hinges are printed pre-assembled, it is important to calibrate the flow rate/flow dynamics for the material used.a very good tool for this is the following: https://makerworld.com/de/models/893695-flexi-flow-calibration-tool-v4-by-ck3d?from=search#profileId-861958It should definitely be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.16mm
