Overview

This is a custom-sculpted espresso cup designed with an organic, anatomical lip shape at the rim. It combines the functionality of a demitasse cup with the artistic flair of surrealist sculpture.

It is designed to hold a standard shot of espresso, making your coffee break feel a little more... intimate.

⚠️ Important Note on Food Safety

Please Read: Standard FDM 3D prints have microscopic layer lines that can trap bacteria, and not all materials are food safe.

• For Decor/Props: Print in standard PLA/PLA+.
• For Drinking: If you intend to drink from this, it is highly recommended to coat the inside with a food-safe epoxy resin or print using food-grade ceramic filament/materials.

Print Instructions

The model features organic curves and smooth geometry.

• Material: It looks fantastic in Matte White PLA (to look like plaster) or Marble PLA for a sculpted stone look.
• Walls: I recommend 3-4 wall loops to ensure the cup is sturdy and watertight.
• Infill: Lightning
• Supports: There are overhang on the bottom. Tree/Organic Supports (from build plate only) are recommended.
• Scaling: The default size fits a standard espresso shot. Feel free to scale up for a full-size coffee mug or planter!

Post-Processing

If using for decor, no post-processing is needed! If you are sealing it for use, light sanding before applying food-safe epoxy will help adhesion.
