This is our first clock! Hope you like it!

Clock - Dim sum basket, Horse calligraphy

For the face of the clock, it comes in two versions - dim sum basket & horse calligraphy
For the base of the clock, it also comes in two versions. You can hang it or place it on your desk!
Each clock has 12 pegs that are compatible with all our buns. It's designed in a way so that you can customize your personal clock however you like.

Important note about using the bambu Clock Components Kit (1pcs) - MH011

We realize that if you purchase your clock kit from bambu, the sizes for clock/minute hands can differ depending on which batch you receive.
In our print profiles, we have included two different sizes. Please measure the diameter of your clock kit prior to printing.

A delightful little clock! Thanks for sharing, Jefflynn! My only comment in terms of printability is that it would be really nice to have a single file that contains all the animal buns, since I have an H2C and I'm itching to use all of those different nozzles in one go. (I printed them all separately because of the variable layer height, but now I'm thinking about it, I could have just set the layer height to the minimum and printed them all at the same time!)

Thank you so much for the boost! Love the clock you made! Other than the layer height difference, I think it's hard for most to print more than two animals on each plate since each animal can have up to 4 colors. I'm jealous that you have an H2C! haha.

There’s a well known Chinese cultural taboo around clocks. “Giving a clock” (送钟, sòng zhōng) is a homophone of 送终 (sòng zhōng); a term associated with death and funerals, which makes clocks an especially unlucky gift… particularly during Lunar New Year.

Yes, you're right that the 'gifting' taboo doesn't apply for a self-print. The separate issue is that clocks are a broadly inauspicious symbol during the Chinese New Year festival, which is entirely focused on positive, lucky themes of life and longevity. It's the general theme that doesn't align with the contest's spirit.

I love the idea of this! I love all of the cute little buns and even did Patreon for a little bit for some exclusives. I would love some kind of fun display shelf with the pegs to be able to display them all! Or a peg with a magnet to be able to move them around the display? Just some ideas :)
