Description
Replacement rest for the Yamaha SLG series Silent Guitar (e.g. SLG200S, SLG 200N)
Personalise your Yamaha silent guitar or replace a damaged guitar leg rest (The shiny black (wooden!) piece the guitar rest on when playing seated).
To match my 3D printer Pick guard for the guitar (check out my other models), I have also modelled the leg rest, allowing you to create a matching pair of customised pieces on the guitar.
Print in your chosen colour and material, and even using a patterned / holographic build plate, or paint an image or logo into your print to customise your guitar and make people say ‘wow’ even more than they do when you show the hollow SLG guitar itself!
Simple remove the lower frame ‘guitar shaped piece’ from the body using the two screws on each end, then unscrew the existing rest and replace with this one. Re-attach the lower frame and you are good to go!
I have included a small thin piece of plastic inside the screw hole to help give more grip to the screws, so it will be a little harder to tighten the screws than the original wooden rest piece.
