Product Introduction
This 3D printed aquarium filter is designed specifically for crystal shrimp and small ornamental fish tanks It uses an air pump to drive water flow and combines a multi-layer filtration structure to provide stable, clean water quality The design balances filtration efficiency, ease of maintenance, and biological safety, allowing crystal shrimp and fish to live in a healthy and comfortable environment
Dimensions
* Standard Version: The filter box measures 11.5 cm wide × 11.5 cm deep × 18.5 cm high It has ample capacity and is suitable for general small to medium-sized aquariums
* Shortened Version: The filter box measures 11.5 cm wide × 11.5 cm deep × 13.5 cm high It is 5 cm shorter than the standard version, making it more suitable for smaller aquariums or users who need to save space
Printing Notes
* This design offers two file versions: one with a normal name, and another labeled 'for AMS'
* We recommend selecting the 'for AMS' version for printing, as this version is easier to print by removing supports, results in a smoother surface, and has better overall completion
* The 'for AMS' version requires printing with two types of materials: PETG and PLA:
PETG: Recommended as the main material for its durability and toughness, suitable for long-term use
PLA: Recommended as the support material to facilitate support removal and maintain structural stability
* Due to printing space limitations, the A1 mini 3D Printer can only print the shortened version
Other Bambu Lab printer models (all models released before X2D) are compatible with all versions

It features two independent filter compartments, allowing flexible placement of various filter media such as bio-rings, aquatic plant soil, or other filter materials, meeting diverse filtration needs
* Front Bio-Sponge Compartment
A dedicated space is provided at the very front for a bio-sponge The bio-sponge offers a large surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize, enhancing biological filtration Simultaneously, it effectively prevents crystal shrimp or other small organisms from being drawn into the filter by the water flow, avoiding accidental entrapment or injury, thus ensuring the safety of inhabitants in the tank
* Air Pump-Driven Water Flow
An air pump drives the water flow, creating a stable circulation that ensures uniform water filtration No additional electric motor is needed, making it energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain
* Retractable Handle Design
Each filter compartment is equipped with a retractable handle, making it easy to remove for replacement or cleaning, simple to operate, and maintenance much easier
* Rear Hook Slots
The back features three hook slots at different heights, allowing adjustment of the installation position according to the aquarium's height
The hooks are compatible with glass tanks of 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm thickness, offering wide applicability They can be securely hung on the side of the aquarium, are easy to install, and avoid occupying space inside the tank
