Description

This project contains a 3D model of a Deutsch DTM 4-Pin connector housing, designed for precision fitment and practical prototyping. The model is intended for use in low-current automotive, motorsport, industrial, and embedded electronics applications where compact, sealed connectors are required.

The geometry reflects the external form factor of a standard DTM-series 4-pin connector, allowing for enclosure mockups, harness routing validation, fixture design, and non-electrical fit testing. Internal features are modeled to support proper pin alignment and retention when paired with compatible DTM terminals.

This file is provided in .3MF format to preserve scale accuracy, orientation, and material metadata across slicers and manufacturing workflows.

Intended Use Cases:

  • Enclosure and housing design validation
  • Wiring harness layout and clearance checks
  • Rapid prototyping and functional mockups
  • Fixture, jig, or strain-relief design
  • Educational and visualization purposes

Manufacturing Notes:

  • Recommended for printing in PETG, ABS, Nylon, or PA-CF for improved heat and mechanical resistance
  • Print orientation should maintain pin cavity accuracy and connector face flatness
  • Not intended as a certified electrical connector for production use

Disclaimer:
This model is not an OEM-certified component and is intended for prototyping, testing, or educational use only. Electrical performance, sealing, and durability have not been validated against official Deutsch specifications.
