🔩 Assembly & Expansion

The scepter consists of several modules connected by precise internal and external threads. This allows it to be assembled without glue, without tools, and in just a few seconds.

Assembly works in three steps:

1. Screw together the tip + handle segment
2. Screw in additional handle segments as needed
3. Screw together the head module + crystal

Each segment has a matching thread, so everything fits securely, doesn't wobble, and can be disassembled multiple times if necessary.

📏 Flexible Length, Expandable as Needed

The special feature of this scepter:
The length is completely modular.

You decide:

• Short: Only one handle segment
• Standard: Two segments
• Long: Three or more segments
• Custom: As many segments as you want

Simply print one more segment, screw it in, and it's done.
This way, the scepter can be precisely adapted for:

✔ Cosplay
✔ Display
✔ Photos
✔ Children or Adults

🔆 LED Illumination in the Crystal

The crystal head is designed to absorb and diffuse light.
To do this, simply place an LED tealight under the crystal – completely without cables, soldering, or additional electronics.

It works like this:

1. Turn on the LED tealight
2. Place it under the crystal
3. Screw the crystal into place
4. Light diffuses through the transparent filament

The transparent filament creates a powerful glow effect that makes the crystal shine in the dark and gives the scepter a magical artifact feeling.

Printing Notes – Quality & Supports

For this project, it is important to print with a 0.16 mm layer height (High Quality) to accurately reproduce all details on threads, ornaments, and the crystal.
Additionally, the pre-configured support settings should not be changed, as they have been specifically adapted for this model.

Specifically, this means:

• Layer height: 0.16 mm High Quality
• Supports: do not change / do not remove
• Avoid replacing auto-supports
• Maintain part orientation

This is the only way to ensure that:

✔ Threads grip cleanly
✔ Surface remains detailed
✔ Crystal appears clear and uniform
✔ Assembly and fit function correctly

Why this project?

This project shows how far FDM 3D printing can go today when function and aesthetics are considered together. The scepter combines modular extension, tool-free threaded assembly, and an LED-compatible crystal head into an artifact that not only looks good but is also interactive, customizable, and technically well-designed.
It is an object that unites design, technology, and presentation in a single idea:

This project is designed for use with LED tealights.
No open flame may be used.

• Please use LED tealights exclusively
• No real candles / no open fire
• LED tealights produce no heat, are safe, and child-friendly

Thanks to the translucent crystal module, an intense glow effect is still created without generating heat or smoke.
