Description
This 3D printed component is a gear shift gate (English: Index Bracket) for various older MTD lawn tractors (7-speed).
The original part with the number 731‑1069 is often listed as not available in stores.
So that users can continue to repair their devices, I reverse-engineered and optimized this part for 3D printing. It serves to mechanically guide and lock the gears or shift positions.
The gear shift gate was installed on a friend's Eicher lawn tractor.
This component is now often also offered commercially under the number 931‑1746 (according to AI).
