Description

This model works with the Ring Floodlight Pro outdoor light and camera.  You only need this model if your electrical box is mounted OUTSIDE of your wall (and not inside your wall, which is also common).  For this model I used the following electrical box:

About this Design

Standard electrical boxes like this are smaller than the Ring's base and, as such, the Ring Floodlight sits awkwardly on the box.  This extender/cover/collar works to create a uniform size so that the Ring Floodlight sits flush with the electrical box.  This model fits snuggly on the above mentioned box.

Printing Material

My Ring Floodlight is not exposed to sun or water.  I printed this in Bambu Matte White PLA.

Installation

Install your electrical box in accordance with the instructions.  Before installing the Ring Floodlight, slide this print over the electrical box.  The mounting bracket that comes with this box (and is needed to install the Ring) can be adjusted to move side to side.  You may need to tinker with this a bit so that the Ring Floodlight sits directly in the middle of the electrical box.  You should do a test fit before connecting the wires.

Removal

Simply do the steps in reverse.  You cannot remove this print without first removing the Ring Floodlight itself.
