2040 Extension for MFT table (Festool)
Print Profile(2)

Description
Extension for when using a 2040 extrusion as a fence on a MFT table, this model can be used with either guide rail benchdogs, guide rail dog hooks or with some sort of rail hinge. The tip of the extension is printed with 100% infill and a little bit lower and will be cut off when you make the first cut, this is by design as it gives you the actual zero point of your blade and gives you a good point to measure from when setting flipstops or aligning marks.
THIS IS FOR THE FESTOOL GUIDE RAILS (Bosch/Mafell version availible here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2160847-2040-extension-for-mft-table-bosch-mafell#profileId-2342819)
Rather than cutting down the 2040 aluminum extrusion for use as a fence on a MFT top this attaches to the extrusion as an extension which goes down to 8 mm letting you cut material down to 9 mm with full contact of the track.
You will need some hardware:
1 M5 nut for attaching the dog
1 countersunk M5 machine screw
2 M5x20 bolts
2 T-nuts for attaching the extrusion
I will also add the dogs I use for attaching the fence to the MFT top, they use M5x30 bolts, you can use other dogs but the back of the fence needs to be in line with the edge of the dogholes for the extension to work.
