Description

After making the drill press ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/2227804-drill-press-for-dremel-multipro-or-other-tools#profileId-2423425 ) for my Dremel I decided to make a fixture to use it like a miniature bench saw.
It uses the same mounting bracket as that of the drill press for the Dremel.

One of the uses I thought of was to cut metric bolts. I often end up not having the exact length of bolt and using a hacksaw ends up not being too accurate and hate doing it. (It is a lot faster than a Dremel though, at least mine) There are holders for M3, M4 and M5 bolts that can slide in the slot on the moveable bed. I used PETG but you have to be careful to not over push the cutting to keep the heat down.   There's also a shield you can put over the cutting disk in case the disk fragments. You should wear glasses anyway.  Vibration is quite high with my tool so I put rubber feet on the jig and a strip of rubber under the back of the Dremel.
