PTFE Clip (remix) optimized cable routing without chafing

🎯 Purpose & Benefits

The clip ensures that the PTFE tube no longer chafes against the upper glass pane.
This reduces:

  • wear and tear on the PTFE tube
  • movement is smoother and with less tension
  • the risk of damage is minimized

🖨️ Print Notes

  • Printable without supports
  • Material: PETG
  • Precisely fitted for the P2S

  • Note: This is a remix
  • This model is based on an original design by
    NickNack40 → https://makerworld.com/de/@NickNack40
  • I have specifically adapted and functionally improved the original model.

    Internal edges rounded
The inner surfaces have been slightly rounded so that no sharp edges can chafe against the PTFE tube.

  • Eyelet extended
The eyelet has been extended to reduce tension on the tube and allow for more relaxed routing.

Thank you!! I just set up my X2D yesterday and was looking for a solution for the tube smacking the top glass!

at first I had problems with the normal build plate and at 98% the clips started to come loose. With Engineering Plate and glue, everything worked the second time and it also fits well, thanks for that 🙏🏼
